Editorial Process

How we make content you can trust

We publish two pieces of content every week. Every one is created by practitioners, reviewed by experts, fact-checked, and kept current. Here is the process behind it.

Our entire business is built on a simple idea: the companies that earn the most trust win. We hold our own content to that same standard. We would rather publish one rigorously accurate, genuinely useful article than ten that are fast and forgettable.

Our standards

What every piece of content must do

Be written by practitioners

Our authors are working coaches and specialists who do this work with real businesses every day — not anonymous content mills. Experience comes first.

Answer a real question

Topics come from questions buyers and marketers actually ask. If it does not help someone make a better decision, we do not publish it.

Be accurate and sourced

Claims are checked against primary sources and our own first-hand data. We cite where it matters and correct quickly when we get something wrong.

Stay current

Marketing changes fast. We review and update evergreen content on a schedule and stamp each page with its last-updated date.

Step by step

Every article moves through five stages

1

Research & topic validation

We start from the real questions our audience is asking across search, sales calls, and community. An editor confirms the topic is genuinely useful, not already well-covered by us, and worth a reader's time.

2

Drafting by a subject-matter expert

A practitioner who actually does the work writes the first draft, grounded in their own experience and in primary sources. Every author has a public profile so you can see their credentials and track record.

3

Editorial & expert review

An editor reviews for clarity, structure, and usefulness. When a topic is technical or high-stakes, a second subject-matter expert reviews it for accuracy. Reviewers are credited on the page.

4

Fact-checking & sourcing

Statistics, claims, and quotes are verified against their original sources. We link to evidence, label opinion as opinion, and disclose any relevant relationships. See our full Editorial Policy & Ethics.

5

Publish, measure & update

After publishing, we watch how the content performs and gather reader feedback. Evergreen pieces are revisited on a recurring schedule and re-stamped with a new last-updated date when revised.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to assist with research, outlining, and editing — never to replace human judgment or expertise. A qualified human author is responsible for every published piece, every claim is human-verified, and we never publish AI-generated text as if it were first-hand experience. Our complete stance is documented in our Editorial Policy & Ethics.

What you'll see on every article

Our process is visible, not just promised. On our published content you will find:

  • A named author byline linked to a full profile with their experience and credentials.
  • A "Reviewed by" credit when a separate expert checked the work.
  • An "Originally published / Updated" date so you know how fresh it is.
  • Citations and links to primary sources for key claims.
